David just tweeted he really had a craving for juice after running! He is limited in what he drinks as milk give him phlegm problems and he doesn’t drink coffee or tea unless it’s herbal tea. He is trying to stay away from sodas, so it looks like a lot of water and the juices he craves. What do you think? Pineapple juice, since he loves pineapple so much, orange juice, the variations in between?
He really seems to be working out with so much time off these past few days. He definitely will be really buffed and in great shape when he starts his Christmas concerts soon. By the way, has anyone heard when we will get those dates? I am all on pins and needles waiting to book those dates. Let’s hope it is soon!

Two of my favorite juices are Orangina—great sparkling zest!—and Dole Orange Peach Mango for delicious sweetness. I didn’t know about Red Bull, the energy drink, until I read that some were drinking it during the long hours in the studio for the Christmas album. At first, I thought it must be a beer, although I didn’t think they would drink beer, especially while at work. Red Bull contains caffeine, though, so I doubt if David drinks it.
Minja, I never heard of Orangina before, so I googled it.
Sounds quite yummy!
Alas, went grocery shopping today & this concoction doesn’t seem to be sold in Utah. 🙁
So Minja, you’ll have to introduce David to the drink when he’s in your neck of the woods. 🙂
oh dear, Lyrix! I’m sorry you couldn’t find Orangina in Utah. It’s in my local grocery store. I’ve read that Whole Foods and Trader Joes have the one liter bottle. Can you look there? I just read today that Suntory, a Japanese company, will buy Orangina for more than $3 billion! I sure hope they don’t change the ingredients.
Next time I see David, I’ll bring him a bottle of Orangina. I bet he’ll love it. It’s a very refreshing drink.
I Googled and found that a gourmet store called Pirate O’s carries Orangina. The owner is a former supplier to venerable West Coast gourmet discounter Trader Joe’s.

Call before you go and ask about Orangina.
Thanks for the info Minja.
I’ve heard of Trader Joe’s but have never gone there. Maybe I’ll have to head out to Draper to check them out.
But I’ll do as you suggest and call first. 🙂
