It’s Make a Hat Day!
Who knew there was such a special occasion! I am one who loves hats—but I did not know that September 15 is Make a Hat Day. No one knows how it started, but it may have been promoted by school teachers who wanted to encourage their young students to be creative. As the new school year begins, I’m sure there are many hats being made in classrooms across the country.
David Archuleta has been known to sport a hat occasionally. Here he is last March reading Dr. Seuss to a group of children as a volunteer for Read Across America.

I had no idea that there was such a day. Thanks for the picture reminder. My daughter in law is painting a nursery with scenes from the book David was reading to the class. http://itsthesmiths.com/
My comment doesn’t have much to do with hat day so feel free to delete if you want.
