Songs It’s Labor Day and Song of the Week is “Works for Me.” Whenever, whatever David Archuleta sings, it works for me. But this song in particular works on so many levels.

“Works for Me”
This summer David sang “Works for Me” on Fox & Friends in New York City. The event was part of David’s cross-country book tour for his memoir, Chords of Strength. Toby Lightman, the song’s co-writer, accompanied David on guitar at the outdoor performance. He delivers a very soulful version which I love!

David’s smooth pop vocals and his innate musicality make this album completely enjoyable. From his smash hit Crush to his bluesy autobiographical Works for Me!—a great listen.

David Archuleta continues to inspire people of all ages. I am amazed by the humbleness of his personality and the classy way he dresses and carries himself. I’d like to see many more follow his lead to do good and strive for making things better in someone’s life. He makes me smile. 🙂 (Oh yeah, he has a VOICE that soothes my soul!)
